David helps specifically with adolescents and/or their guardians, men seeking support with male issues, couples and families looking to improve their family systems, people noticing barriers to their goals and needing to problem solve, dual-diagnosis, trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, mindfulness, and conflict resolution. He has a network of other providers, as well, that can aid us along your journey. He facilitates training seminars for private agencies, schools, churches, and companies, on the above subject matters, trauma informed care and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). He has extensive training in both trauma therapy and DBT, and is fully licensed in Georgia, holding the status of National Certified Counselor, through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC), and the Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, providing supervision to associate level clinicians working towards license. He provides a faith-based approach to the clients that desire this to be incorporated into their sessions.

Online Counseling



Rachel is a graduate student at the University of North Georgia. She began her internship at Foundry Counseling in May 2020. Rachel serves as an Emerging Leader for ASERVIC (Association for Spirituality, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling). She is on two research teams with professors at her university and will be attending both NCDA and SACES conferences in 2021 to present their work. Rachel has also been recognized at the University as Most Outstanding Counselor in Training for 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 as well as the Outstanding Cohort Leadership Award 2019-2020. She is TeleMental Health Certified and was trained in Adlerian Play Therapy as of August 2020. Rachel plans to work with children, adolescents, young adults and families, especially those within the foster care system. She is bilingual and is certified by ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) as an Advanced communicator of Spanish. She is on track to graduate May 2021.


DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician™

Christina works with adolescents and families to learn effective ways to deal with emotions in the moment while being fair to yourself and others. She is a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician™ and follows adherent DBT therapy practices.


Karla has been a therapist since 1988 and has 10 years of experience as a caseworker and foster care intake worker for Cobb County Department of Family and Children Services. Karla graduated from the University of Georgia with a Master's in Social Work. She has worked as a therapist and
manager of various positions with Youth Villages at Inner Harbour for the past 30+ years and in a private practice for 10+ years. She has also worked as the Day Treatment Coordinator for Skyland Trail. She is certified as a Master Addiction Counselor, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, and in Collaborative Problem Solving. Additionally, she has been Seven Challenges Leadership trained since 2010.
